Morning Reflection

How this calm body of water reflects the brilliant fall leaf colors.  Before this scene I was in silence, awe and praise – feeling so gifted to behold this beauty.  I wanted to pitch a tent here! I’m tempted to say fall is my favorite season.  Yet I love the white snows, the hope of green and pastel springs, and summer abundance. Whatever season my heart is in, may I give praise to God or be moving toward that goal by grace – knowing that grief and loss are a part of each season of our lives. I pray for those who have little beauty in their lives.  I pray for those who cannot see the beauty in themselves, in those around them, and in this world.  May we all better reflect God’s beauty, love, and care for our earth and for others.
