| The Eucharist |
 The Eucharist is the foundational sacrament and experience of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ as he pours himself out in love. Here, as both the crucified and risen Christ, he shares his very self, under the form of bread and wine, that we may become his very life and love for others. The greatest praise and thanksgiving we can offer God, is the surrender of ourselves to a full and conscious celebration of the mystery of salvation God has given us in Christ Jesus. |
| Liturgy of the Hours |
| Sometimes called the Divine Office, the Liturgy of the Hours is the official prayer of the Church. Following the Rule of St. Benedict, the Community gathers several times daily to pray this ancient form of prayer composed of hymns, Scripture readings, the psalms, prayers, and times of silent reflection. St. Benedict placed a high value on Prayer in Community as we praise and thank God, intercede, and ask for forgiveness. |

Personal Prayer |
| Lectio Divina |
| The traditional mode of Benedictine prayer is lectio divina—”holy reading”—the reflective and contemplative reading of sacred scripture, through which one becomes increasingly open to the presence of God and the promptings of the Spirit. Sisters give time daily to personal lectio and may also share group lectio. |  |
| Devotional Prayer |
 Devotional Prayers are religious practices and various forms of prayer such as the rosary, adoration, Stations of the Cross, novenas, etc. These practices can lead a person to a deeper faith and commitment to God through meditating on the mysteries of the life of Christ and Mary, being with Christ in worship and adoration, and remembering and asking the intercession of the saints as we journey into greater love for God and our neighbor. |
