Sponsorship
In recent years, we have moved from a position of ownership to one of sponsorship. By doing so, we have promised to provide the foundational rock - our name, our values, and our own long record of stability - upon which other organizations can securely build. We thus share our own integrity and depth of commitment. Our sponsorship responsibilities start here in Duluth with The College of St. Scholastica, the Benedictine Health Center and Westwood, and St. Mary's Medical Center. We extend our involvement beyond Duluth by serving as sponsors for member or affiliated institutions in the Benedictine Health System.

oneself solemnly.' I believe that sponsorship is, then, a deep sense
of responsibility, as well as a bond that unites us as Benedictines
with our institutions and with the good works that flow from them.
