St. Scholastica Monastery
What are you looking for?
John the Baptist’s followers began following Jesus after he pointed to Him and proclaimed, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” These disciples were more than just a little curious; they felt an irresistible tug on their hearts. And so, they began seeking Jesus. Were they surprised when Jesus turned, acknowledged their presence behind Him, and spoke to them? Did they whisper in their heart, “Please, don’t send us away because we want to know more”? Aloud, they said to Jesus, “Teacher, where are you staying?” Maybe Jesus smiled at this question, pleased that they wanted what He wanted: for them to be close to Him. Jesus issued the invitation: “Come and see!” (John 1:37-39)
Are you curious? Feeling a tug on your heart? Wanting to know more…to know what’s in store for you? What are you looking for?
