Welcomed by Flowers

As we enter the chapel, in front of the Baptismal font, one often finds beautiful flowers, especially in the summer, bespeaking the sacred and beautiful place one is about to enter, for this is “none other than the house of God.”

It is especially significant that all these flowers are from our garden near the creek. The flowers are tended and cared for by Sister Teri Spinler. She also arranges them. What a gift she possesses! I, as well as the other Sisters, and guests admire them as they help us give praise, glory, and honor to God for all creation, especially brightly colored flowers!

“Listen carefully, my child, to your master's precepts, and incline the ear of your heart. Receive willingly and carry out effectively your loving father's advice, that by the labor of obedience you may return to Him from whom you had departed by the sloth of disobedience.”
