Dancing

dancing

Listening,

In the silence of the sunrise –

Leaves dancing in the breeze of a new day –

Momentarily, they lie silent and still as if pausing for direction.

And then…the dance begins again.

So it is with me, Lord.

I listen for Your voice –

Together we dance.

In Your time,

You quiet my spirit.

Again, my heart listens for Your love song

And a new dance is born.

Keep me dancing, Lord, forever with You.
