Our History - A New Home

Throughout their long history, the Duluth Benedictines always invested in buildings to house their expanding ministries rather than in their own personal living space. This changed in 1991 when, for the first time, the Duluth Benedictines completed a building designed specifically for our own needs as monastic women. Stanbrook West, a four-story building attached to Stanbrook, is a residence for Sisters.

The McCabe home, a gift to the Sisters, became McCabe Renewal Center in 1977.
